Dublin Corporation's Hugh Lane Gallery is one of Ireland's foremost collections of modern and contemporary art. It has a diverse and stimulating exhibitions programme as well as a wide range of activities. The Gallery's education and outreach programme has forgedstrong linkswith local school and community groups with activities ranging from Kids Club workshops, adult education courses and the ever-popular Sunday lecture series.

The Gallery's bookshop stocks a range of books, catalogues, gifts and cards. The cafe serves a real nice coffee!

Admission to the Permanent Collection is free Francis Bacon Studio admission 7.50 euros; 3.50 euros concession (students, senior citizens and the unwaged); under 18s 2.50 euros; Tuesdays 9.30-12.30 admission free. Free admission on Tuesday mornings is to facilitate individuals and repeat visitors. Groups must contact the Education Department of the Gallery in advance to arrange visiting the Studio outside of this time.

Getting To The Gallery
Bus: Buses 3, 10, 11, 13, 16, 19 pass close to the Gallery
Dart: The Gallery is about 10 minutes walk from Connolly and Tara Street stations. There is a ramp offering access to those in wheelchairs and two designated parking spaces are located outside the Gallery
